House GOP leaders: White House lunch found common ground

President Barack Obama and Republican leaders in the House agreed Wednesday that their lunch meeting at the White House yielded some common ground.

  1. Common ground? Doesn't sound good. Hopefully this means the R's agree to continue to think Obama's policies are lame and Obama agrees to continue to think all conservatives and Republicans are lame.

    R's have 2 year moratorium on earmarks. Let's build on that by defunding Obamacare and Planned Parenthood. When that's done we just start going down the list (EPA, DOE (energy), DOE (education) HUD, etc., etc., etc.). After that's done we pass real and serious tort reform to lower medical costs and then we break down all the barriers to selling health insurance across state lines and pass national right to work.

    Get all that done and 2012 will be looking like a big year for economic recovery. 10 of millions of new jobs would be created.
